25 Years in Arbor Heights
BRACE POINT POTTERY Studio and Gallery is closing on February 1st, 2022, after 25 years in Beautiful Downtown Arbor Heights.

Beth and I are moving to California to live near our daughter in Merced, where she is a professor at the University of California. I will take the opportunity to teach a segment on clay minerals and ceramic technology in Claire's Geology class called "Rock to Rock."
It is time for reinvention in this new (hopefully) post-Covid world. I will be setting up a new studio in our quiet cul de sac neighborhood with ample space plus lemon and lime trees. New work will ensue.
Meanwhile, this property in beautiful downtown Arbor Heights will be in good hands with a new owner. Deb Schwartzkopf, founder of RAT CITY STUDIOS in White Center, is expanding into this facility beginning March 1st, 2022. She and her crew will offer classes for all levels, skill-building workshops, a firing service for local potters, artist studios, and a specialty shop featuring local and national artists.
I am delighted that our efforts to bring local art to our neighborhood will continue to thrive, and I hope the community will welcome them.
