Reeve Washburn, West Seattle Art Walk Coordinator, interviewed me in the gallery last week, then wrote a bang up piece of literature.  Maybe I said some of this, but  I didn't sound as eloquent as when Reeve writes it down.

Diane and I installed the Fall Foliage show last night and it looks terrific.  Kassie Hennessey's clay sculptures glisten under the gallery lights.  P.A. Mathison has filled the gallery walls with a burst of fall color.

November Art Opening at Brace Point Pottery

Join me at Brace Point Pottery for an exhibition of exceptional local artists, in conjunction with the West Seattle Art Walk.  Phillip Levine is well know for his bronze sculptures, including Walking on Logs on the approach to West Seattle from the viaduct.  For this show, he will present his wonderful, expressive figure drawings.
Rickie Barnett creates soulful self-portrait ceramic sculptures that will surprise and delight.  I think you will enjoy this combination of drawn figures by Phillip, the veteran artist and 3-D figure by Rickie, the emerging artist.
I will feature my new black and tan series of pottery forms, a stark contrast to my characteristic color field approach to decoration.
